The College of Humanities includes the Department of Korean Language and Literature, the Department of English Language and Literature, the Department of German Language and Literature, the Department of French Language and Literature, the Department ofJapanese Language and Literature, and the Department of Chinese Language & Cultural Studies. These six disciplines seek to accomplishmastery in applied skills and theoretical approaches to these aforementioned areas.

| In addition, these academic programs expose students to both local and foreign cultures so that they can enhance their understanding and appreciation in a global perspective. The Department of Korean Language and Literature endeavors to promote traditional culture through successful heritage of Korean language and literature, while other departments expose students to the worlds superior cultures and disciplines in the course of studying respective languages to increase cultural exchanges in terms of acadeics and practices. Humanities serve to pursue diverse knowledge and boost cultural development through appropriate understanding of historical humanities phenomena humankind have achieved. In this vein, additional departments will be scheduled for implementation to further enrich the educational environment. |
