The College of Natural Sciences was established to promote basic sciences, develop new technologies and apply principles of basic science research to everyday life. The college houses two schools, School of Natural Sciences and School of Human Ecology. The School of Natural Science aims to inspire and educate students to lead the country s scientific and technological progress in diverse professions. In order to fulfill the vision, the college offers a variety of courses in basic theories and laboratory experiments.
In addition, it also provides the necessary interdisciplinary education and research opportunities to develop creative
solutions to the problems faced in the fields of ecology, information science, and genetics.School of Natural Sciences.T As a part of the school s efforts to contribute to community evelopment, the school has been taking a full responsibility of the nationally renowned Incheon Science Elite Program since its inception.
The School of Human Ecology strives for excellence in education and research which contributes to upgraded micro- and macroecological environments and ultimately increase the quality of life in society. For such vision, the college actively engages in carrying out research related to the well-being of an individual and family and developing ways to link research activities to the community. The students are encouraged to pursue an interdisciplinary approach to obtain integrative as well as specialized skills. The school has been chosen as an operator of Healthy Family Support Center in Incheon Metropolitan City.
