The primary goal of the Department of Law is to realize social justice and equality under the law by researching the law as rules regulating diverse relations in life in many different fields in society. It focuses on the education and research of basic theories, and the order and spirit that the law invokes to meet the various legal demands of society. In attempting to achieve this objective, the College provides comprehensive and demanding training for practicing law,as well as civil service at both the regional and national levels. Its academic programs foster the development of creative and logical thinking,

The College has a single department - the Department of Law and it operates Chongganchae, a preparatory course for the state bar examination. Admittance into the course is limited to a small group of students who have excelled in their studies. In addition to a challenging curriculum, there are opportunities for involvement in numerous extracurricular activities such as participating in community service as well as academic and cultural events.
